CALL FOR PAPERS
1st INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF ETHNOBIOLOGY
"Ethnobiology Supports Sustainable Biodiversity Management"

The Ethnobiological Society of Indonesia (PMEI), supported by the Research Center for Ecology and Ethnobiology, Indonesia's National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), invites contributors to submit an abstract for the 1st International Conference of Ethnobiology. A maximum of 300 words abstract include a brief rationale, aims, methodology, main findings, and a short conclusion. Please complete your submission with a title, author name, institutional affiliation, and e-mail address. Those whose abstracts are accepted must submit a full paper between 5000-7000 words (see important dates at the call poster for reference). Selected papers will be published digitally in the Journal of Tropical Ethnobiology published by the Ethnobiological Society of Indonesia (PMEI). The abstract should be submitted to etnobiologi.indonesia@gmail.com
The theme of the conference is "Ethnobiology Supports Sustainable Biodiversity Management", which presents four keynote speakers as follows:
1. Prof. Dr. Ir. Y. Purwanto, DEA. (Research Center for Ecology and Ethnobiology BRIN; Chairman of the Ethnobiological Society of Indonesia)
2. Prof. Dr. Kazuhiro Harada (Graduate School of Bioagricultural Sciences, Nagoya University, Japan)
3. Dr. Manuel Boissiere (CIRAD / Agricultural Research Center for International Development, France)
4. Jennifer Joi Field (Founder of Cultural Mapping Pty Ltd., Broome Western Australia)
